Rick and David decided to share some war stories about camp and space and such, and all the while Max and Morty ran off. However, their natural magnet for trouble ended with something blowing up and they narrowly escaped. Furious, Rick yanked Morty over his knee without a second thought, baring his bottom seconds before he turned it a bright red. David, too timid to dare raise a hand to Max, did his part to make sure Max stood by and waited for his turn. Feeling guilty about seeing his role model so angry with him, Max submitted to his punishment willingly while Morty sought comfort from David.
