Bell idea was brilliant.
Challenging the spanker team to a baseball match and win in order to reduce the amount of spanks she was supposed to receive. Certain of her victory she played carefully and overconfident with the consequent defeat from the spanker team.

Now she's about to endure not only all the spanks she was supposed to get but also those proposed by Sue, the captain of the spanker team.
