Chloe was well aware of the risks, she heard the stories of how hard it was to steal from the temples, not only because of the paladins present but because they were guarded by ( it was said) the angels themselves .
Of course the ambitious thief wouldn't have gone for a easy target anyway.. so why not trying to steal a relic from the temple of light? it'd have been wonderful!
As night came the half breed managed to sneak inside the temple, as she wanted it wasn't a piece of cake and a few times she was almost to get caught. However thanks to her skills and natural agility Chloe reached the chamber of the treasure in the depth of the temple, there she started to take everything small that could've fit her pockets jewels relics medals ornaments.
The she heard a cough, as she turned around a woman was standing n front of her... was she an assimar? no, her armour was different and she was radiating such different aura... Then the thief realized, it was an angel A REAL ONE .
Chloe knelt and begged her not to let the paladins get her as they'd have killed her. Of course the angelic figure that other would've recognized as Rose had no intention to make a girl so young die by the hands of the paladins. " The let me punish you and this will all be over " Said the blonde creature as she created a cane made of light and then materializing it in wood .
The thief knew what that meant, too many time in prison it happened, silently she put her hand on her head and with tears in eyes received a fair amount of hit. One for each object she was hiding in her pocket.
the caning was hard and merciless but Rose delivered every hit required despite the cries and begs of Chloe, then, after she was done made the thief promise to never steal again from any temple .
Left in a sobbing mess Chloe promised and out of instinct grabbed the archangel's hand , to her surprise Rose smiled at her, in a second the two were surrounded by a bight light. Chloe out of the temple, her backside sore and the creature of light gone. But the feeling to have escaped a painful death thanks to Rose made the girl smile trough the few tears still running trough her face
