When Carrie Brady found out her coworker, Belinda Krüger, was planning on spending her first Thanksgiving in America, at her apartment, all alone, she invited her over to her house to have Thanksgiving dinner with her, her parents, and her twin sisters, Jan and Ann. When Belinda seemed reluctant to accept her invitation, she told her she would be treated like a member of the family there.
She’s regretting that decision now. Belinda had been rude and disrespectful since she arrived at her house. And now, at dinner, she was complaining about the meal it took her mother all day to prepare. Everything was either too bland or too spicy, too dry or too runny, overcooked or undercooked. While waiting for dessert to be served, Belinda decided to smoke a cigarette. When Carrie’s mother, Beth, asked her kindly not to smoke in the house, Belinda barked at her, “Stop being a bitch, this cigarette is the only thing I’ve enjoyed during this fucking horrible meal!”
Carrie's father, Jim, snatched the cigarette out of Belinda's mouth, telling her, "Carrie asked us to treat you like a member of the family today, young lady, and I plan on doing exactly that. THIS is what I would do to one of my own daughters if she had talked to someone who invited them to their house for Thanksgiving dinner." Taking Belinda by the arm, he told Beth, " Please go and fetch your black hairbrush, the one Carrie nicknamed Mr. Blisters and lay it on the coffee table. We'll be back to have dessert in just a few minutes."
He then marched Belinda into the bathroom, where he washed her mouth out with soap. And then into the den, where he pulled her across his lap, raised her skirt, and began to spank her nearly bare bottom with his hand, until her once snowy white ass was candy apple red and Belinda was bawling like a baby. When she saw Jim reaching for the hairbrush, knowing how painfully that was going to feel on her already blistered bottom, she began to shout, "Ich will ein gutes Mädchen sein!", German for "I'll be good", over and over.
Jim had no idea what Belinda was shouting, and he didn't care, nothing Belinda said was going to stop him until he was sure Belinda wouldn't feel like sitting down for at least a week. When he was satisfied that he had completed that mission, he released the howling German girl off of his lap, and watched her doing what Ann calls "the bad girl boogie", bracing himself for whatever Belinda did next. He expected her to cuss him out, in at least two different languages, storm out of his house, maybe even going to the police station to file charges against him. What she did do, shocked him.
She turned to him, and apologized, " I am so sorry. I know I acted horribly today. It is just ... well ... back in Germany, I spend the holidays with my family and friends, people who love me. Here, in America, I do not have any real friends yet, and I am spending this holiday with a houseful of strangers. That is why I was in such a bad mood today. Please forgive me. I will leave now."
Jim hugged her, and told her, "Belinda, everybody here wants to be your friend. And we would love for you to spend the rest of the holiday with us. Let's go back into the dinning room now, and have dessert."
Jim led Belinda back into the dining room where the rest of his family was waiting for him. Smiling, while still hugging Belinda, Jim said, "Belinda, decided to join us for dessert. And then spend the rest of the holiday with us." "That's great, Belinda.", Carrie said, "Come here and sit by me." Belinda sat down as gingerly as possible by Carrie, squeaking "OWIE", when her boiling hot bottom made contact with the hard wooden chair. Seeing how much Belinda was suffering, Jim announced, "I would like to start a new family tradition. Every Thanksgiving we'll eat our Thanksgiving dessert standing up. Do you like that idea, Dear?" Jim said, turning towards his wife. "Yes, Dear. I LOVE that idea.", Beth said, hoping her daughters didn't notice she was blushing when she said that. She didn't want them to know, she received the same punishments they did for breaking one of Jim's house rules. Getting a speeding ticket earned you a date across Jim's lap. Two days ago, when Jim and Beth were home alone, Mr. Blisters lived up to his name. Sitting through dinner had been a painful ordeal for Beth. Carrie did notice her mother blushing, and wondered if she was having as much trouble sitting as she was. At the same time Jim was spanking Beth, Carrie's boyfriend was wearing her ass out with his belt, because he had just found out she had been texting her ex-boyfriend. Ann and Jan were also happy with that new family tradition. Not only were they identical twins, they currently had identical bruises on their backsides, the results of a recent paddling they had both received yesterday from their cheerleader coach. But the happiest of them all was that lovable brat, Belinda. She felt like she was dipping her already scorching derrière into a vat of lava the few seconds she had managed to sit down. But Belinda was used to having to eat her meals standing up, since her bad behavior had earned her spankings all around the world. But this was the first time, the person who had just punished her, seemed to really care about her, and had wanted to become her friend. Belinda and the Brady girls were all having a happy Spanksgiving this year.
