The Kingdom of Loe was once home to many monastic mage orders, but the Celestines are the only one that survived the breakup of kingdom and the ensuing warring states era in anything like its original form. Girls who show the touch of sorcery are welcomed as novices, quartered and trained at the order's scenic monastery until they join the ranks of its accomplished Mistresses.

Depending on which sort of magic a young sorceress proves gifted with, she is given a uniform with a particular colors and motif. Skytouched, Cindertouched, Watertouched, Suntouched, and Songtouched uniforms are shown here, being worn by acolytes and Mistresses of varying ages and ranks within the Celestine Order.

The Celestines have become something of a political power in recent times, which has gotten them increasing amounts of attention from throughout Loe and the surrounding world. They are also the subject of a great many rumors and gossiped aspersions. That they have what we might call an "Athenian" concept of the ideal student-teacher relationship. That the discipline the novice girls receive is harsher and more severe than what you'd find at many a warlord's military boot camp. Commoners are prone to make up all sorts of lascivious rumors to keep themselves entertained.

All of them are completely true, in this case, but that's almost coincidental.
